André Corrêa (Campinas/Valinhos, Brazil) is a guitarist, composer, and educator whose work weaves Brazilian rhythmic identity with contemporary jazz improvisation and autobiographical spiritual elements. He earned his degree from Berklee College of Music, where he joined the Global Jazz Institute and collaborated in studio sessions led by Grammy-winning producer Matt Rollings. His musical language is shaped by faith, social experience, and the emotional layers of the immigrant journey.

Corrêa began his path in church settings, which shaped both his expressive style and his understanding of music as service and storytelling. In Brazil, he worked as an educator, director of the educational project Além da Música, and creator of the FCA Method (Tool, Connection, and Application), designed to cultivate creative guitarists rather than imitators of established styles.

In the United States, he deepened his artistic voice while studying with musicians such as Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Sheryl Bailey, Tim Miller, and Joe Lovano. He received merit scholarships from Berklee, including the John Abercrombie Scholarship and Achievement Award, and his compositions often reflect themes of immigration, faith, longing, and artistic maturity.

Now based in Florida, he serves as a band director and is dedicated to his solo career. His debut album, Seasons (2025), narrates his journey as a Brazilian immigrant through contemporary Brazilian jazz, marking his entrance as a composer and recording artist.
