Andre Correa (Brazil) is a guitarist, composer, and music educator whose work bridges contemporary jazz with the expressive depth of Brazilian music, guided by a strong sense of narrative, identity, and artistic intention. He holds a degree in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music (Boston), where he received honors such as the John Abercrombie Scholarship and the Guitar Department Achievement Award, and a degree in Music Education from Faculdade Nazarena do Brasil (Brazil). At Berklee, he was also part of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute.
His artistic voice is shaped by faith, cultural roots, and the emotional layers of personal experience. While at Berklee, he performed in diverse settings, engaged in community outreach projects, and collaborated in studio productions with Grammy-winning producer Matt Rollings. His work has also received international recognition through the Global Music Awards.
Andre began his musical path in church communities in Brazil, where he developed a vision of music as service, storytelling, and human connection. Before moving to the United States, he released original singles such as Eterno, For Norman, and Mousiké, marking the beginning of his journey as a composer. In parallel, he built a consistent career as an educator and created the FCA Method (Foundation, Connection, Application), a pedagogical system focused on developing fluency, musical identity, and artistic autonomy in guitarists.
After years dedicated to artistic and academic formation, he resumed his authorial production with the instrumental album Seasons (2025), a collection of compositions written during his time in Boston that reflects a path of personal, spiritual, and artistic transformation. In 2026, he expanded this narrative approach with the solo guitar single Histórias, a work that explores how a single truth changes as it is told and reinterpreted over time.
Now based in Orlando, Florida, Andre works as a solo artist, musical director, and educator, serving as Band Director at Pine Castle Christian Academy. Deeply connected to Brazilian musical heritage and open to global influences, his work seeks music as a sincere language — one that communicates, transforms, and reveals identity.
